Bunkhouses are becoming increasing popular due to their flexibility. They are properties which can accommodate one large group of people or a number of smaller groups of people, spread across a number of different rooms, sometimes with bunk beds. They are not Youth Hostels.
The bunkhouses in the Gower Peninsula can be booked for sole occupancy (where only your group uses the property during your stay) or shared occupancy (where other smaller groups may also be using the communal facilities during your stay). They can also be booked on a nightly basis, but usually there is a minimum stay of two nights.
Often you have a choice as to whether or not you want to supply your own bedding and some are willing to accept dogs, albeit that may be on a sole occupancy basis, so please check when you book to avoid disappointment.
