Bayview House is a charming property located on the north west corner of the Gower Peninsular in the village of Llanmaddoc overlooking the Afon LLwchwr (Loughor) estuary, where Britain’s last standing wave washed iron lighthouse stands guard at the head of Whiteford Sands and Broughton Bay.
The property is situated in a tranquil location at the west end of the village with easy access on to the Llanmadoc Hill and the beaches below. The house has access to a large garden. The community shop is a stones through away, which is also houses the post office and excellent cafe. It’s only a ten minute walk to the village pub, Britannia Inn, where excellent food and beverage are served.
The house has four bedrooms, all doubles including one super king with an ensuite shower room, kingsize, double and one with twin beds. The other three share a new family bathroom with bath & large separate shower. There is also an outside loo! The house sleeps a maximum of 8. It has a fully equipped spacious open plan kitchen/diner with double doors opening onto the garden. There is a comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove, card table for games or puzzels! We provide you with the first basket of logs, (Sept-April).
Activities readily available from Bayview include cycling & walking along the Wales Coastal Path and throughout the Gower Peninsular, an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB); Walking from the property on to Llanmadoc Hill and on to the beaches below; bird watching from Whiteford Nature Reserve overlooking the world renowned salt marsh of the Loughor Estuary; Swimming off the three mile long beaches of Whiteford Sands and Broughton Bay. All these activities are within fifteen minutes walk from Bayview.
Other activities on the Gower including boating, fishing, paddle boarding, kyacking, surfing off Rhossili Beach, golf as well as visits to castles, pubs, restaurants.
